Injectables at Arca Wellness

Dermal Fillers

Restore volume, redefine contours, and soften the signs of ageing — with results that look like you, only rested.

The treatment

Lift, volumise, and restore — naturally.

Dermal fillers are injectable gels — most commonly made from hyaluronic acid (HA), a substance naturally found in your skin — that restore lost volume, smooth deep lines, and sculpt facial contours.

At Arca, Dr. Adè uses an anatomy-first approach. Every treatment begins with a thorough assessment of your facial structure, skin quality, and what you want to achieve. The goal is never to change your face — it's to return it to its best version of itself.

Results are immediate, naturally beautiful, and fully reversible if needed.

15–45 min Treatment time, depending on areas treated
6–18 months Duration varies by product and area
Minimal downtime Most patients return to normal activity same day
Fully reversible Hyaluronidase can dissolve HA fillers if needed
Where we treat

Areas we can address

Each treatment is tailored to your anatomy and aesthetic goals — we never use a one-size approach.

Lips

Natural definition, a cleaner cupid's bow, or improved symmetry — always proportional to your face and never overdone.

Cheeks & midface

Restore the youthful lift of the midface and define the cheekbones — the area that ages fastest and responds most beautifully to filler.

Jawline & chin

Sharpen the jawline, balance the chin, and improve facial symmetry for a structured, defined profile.

Tear troughs

Soften the hollow under the eyes that creates a tired, shadowed appearance — one of our most requested and transformative treatments.

Temples

Address volume loss in the temples — a key ageing area that is often overlooked but has a significant impact on overall facial balance.

Hands

Restore fullness to the backs of the hands, where volume loss and visible tendons are among the earliest visible signs of ageing.

The process

How your treatment works

1

Skin Strategy Consultation

All filler treatments at Arca begin with a dedicated consultation. Dr. Adè assesses your facial anatomy, reviews your skin history, and listens carefully to your goals. This is never a rushed appointment — it's the foundation of a result you'll love. We use this time to map out a treatment plan that makes sense for where you are now and where you want to be.

2

Treatment day

A topical anaesthetic cream is applied to the treatment area for 20–30 minutes before we begin. Dr. Adè then precisely injects the filler using a fine needle or cannula technique, depending on the area. Most patients describe the sensation as mild pressure rather than pain. The product is shaped and assessed in real time throughout the procedure.

3

Immediate results

You'll see the results immediately — though there may be mild swelling or bruising for 24–72 hours that temporarily affects the final look. The true result settles within 2 weeks. Dr. Adè will review with you at the end of the procedure and provide full aftercare instructions before you leave.

4

2-week review

A complimentary review appointment is included with all first-time filler treatments at Arca. This allows Dr. Adè to assess the final result, make any minor adjustments if needed, and answer questions. Your long-term results and maintenance schedule are discussed at this visit.

Questions answered

Frequently asked

Topical anaesthetic cream is applied 20–30 minutes before treatment, which significantly reduces discomfort. Most patients describe the sensation as mild pressure or a brief sting. Some areas — like the lips — are more sensitive than others, but the procedure is generally very well tolerated.
This varies depending on the product used, the area treated, your metabolism, and lifestyle factors. Lip filler typically lasts 6–9 months; cheek and structural filler can last 12–18 months. Your results will be discussed at your consultation so you can plan accordingly.
Anti-wrinkle injections (like Botox) work by relaxing the muscles that cause dynamic lines — lines formed by movement. Dermal fillers add volume to areas that have lost fullness or need structural support. The two treatments are often used in combination for a comprehensive result. Dr. Adè will advise which is appropriate for your concerns at your consultation.
Yes — hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved using an enzyme called hyaluronidase. This is one of the reasons Dr. Adè uses premium HA products rather than permanent or semi-permanent alternatives. If you're unhappy with a result, or if a complication arises, reversibility is a critical safety feature.
Most patients return to their normal day immediately after treatment. Common side effects include mild swelling, redness at the injection site, and occasional bruising — these typically resolve within 24–72 hours. We advise avoiding strenuous exercise, saunas, and alcohol for 24 hours. A full aftercare sheet is provided at your appointment.
Fillers are not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for anyone with a known allergy to hyaluronic acid. Certain medical conditions and medications may also affect suitability. A full medical history is taken at your consultation — please disclose all current medications, supplements, and relevant health conditions.
At Arca, we do not perform filler on the same day as a first consultation. This isn't about being overly cautious — it's about doing the job properly. A consultation allows Dr. Adè to properly assess your anatomy, understand your goals, discuss realistic outcomes, and plan a treatment that is right for your face. We believe this is the standard of care every patient deserves.
